Variation Order can be used in any project work where fixed price contracts are used, and are particularly relevant in the contractor/subcontractor relationship in construction projects. Use a PDA to:

- Capture contract variations when they happen. Record the details of the change on a PDA, take the necessary photos and email them to head office.

- Ask the contract manager / site manager to sign off the variation before proceeding.  Email the signed variation order to your main contacts such a project manager or project accountant.

- Store the variation order on your web site for compilation later when making final contract adjustments.

The software can be run from your PDA simultaneously with other construction relevant functionality such as Inspections, Toolbox Talks, Site Inductions, Risk Assessments, Snagging and Condition Monitoring Surveys.
